BE "PELITA"
Late one night, a blind man home from his friend goodbye. The friend provided him with a lantern lamp.
The blind man laughed saying: "Why should I take a lamp? It is the same for me! I can go home now. "
Gently his friend replied, "This is so that other people can see you, do not let them hit you."
Blind man finally agreed to bring the lamp. Before long, the journey, a man hit a blind pedestrian.
In shock, he grumbled, "Hey, you've got the eye! Make way for the blind dong! "
Without unrequited courtesies, they passed each other.
Furthermore, the other hit a blind pedestrian.
This time more angry blind man, "What are you blind? Can not see it? I brought this lamp so you can see! "
Pedestrian retort, "You are blind! What you do not see, your lamps gone out! "
The blind man was stunned ..
Realizing the situation, penabraknya apologized, "Oh, sorry, I was the 'blind', I do not see that you are blind."
The blind man replied blushed, "It's okay, I forgive also on my rant."
Sincerely, the impactor helped reignite the lamp that brought the blind. They continued their journey.
In subsequent trips, no more blind pedestrians who hit us.
This time, the blind to be more careful, he politely asked, "Excuse me, are my lamp goes out?"
Penabraknya replied, "Well, I just want to ask you the same thing."
Silent for a moment.
in unison they asked, "Are you blind?"
Simultaneously whenever they reply, "Yes.," As he burst into laughter.
They were trying to help each other rediscover their lamps that fall after colliding.
At that time, someone passing by. In the dimness of the night, he nearly ran into two people who were looking for the lamp. He also passed, without knowing that they are blind.
Thoughts arise in the mind of this man, "I think I need to bring a lamp as well, so I could see the road better, others can also go see their way."
Lamp symbolizes the light of wisdom. Means running lamp brought wisdom in life. Lamp, as well as wisdom, protect us and others from various obstacle obstacles (tabrakan!).
The first blind man was veiled represent their ignorance, arrogance, ignorance, ego, and anger. Always pointing in the direction of another person, not aware that more finger pointing towards himself. On the way "home", he learned to be wise after the event through the events that happened. He became more humble because of his blindness and to recognize the compassion of other parties. He also learned to be forgiving.
The first impactor representing the people in general, the less awareness, less concerned. Sometimes, they choose to "blindly" even though they could see.
The second impactor as representing those opposed to us, who actually showed our mistakes, intentionally or unintentionally. They can be our best teachers. Nobody wants to be blind, it is proper we understand each other and help each other.
The second blind man represent them equally with our inner darkness. How difficult it must light the lamp when we could not even see her lamp. The blind lead the blind difficult. That's important to keep learning so that we become more literate, more thoughtful.
The last person to represent them through a pretty aware of the importance of having the lamp of wisdom.
Have we ignite the lamp within each of us? If it is, whether the flame is still bright, or even nearly extinguished? BE PELITA, for ourselves and around us.
A 25-century-old proverb says: A million lamps can be lit from a lamp, and the flame of the first candle will not be dimmed. The lamp of wisdom too, will never be completely distributed.
When the eye without the barrier, the result is a vision. If the ear without a barrier, the result is hearing. Nasal olfactory produce without hindrance. Mind that without the barrier the result is wisdom.
